I went to the chum skating party today! it was really cool! me and my friend woke up at freakin 7! haha! and we got there around 8 i think.. we were waiting outside, cuz we didn't really know where to go.. then we saw these people inside. At first we thought they were just workers setting stuff up, but then we saw some of them sitting in the chairs.. so we went inside and there was already a lineup! so crap! they didn't have any signs or anything, so we didn't know where to go.. but the line wasnt that big.. so it was ok! :)
when they let us in we picked our seats and then we were just sitting around waiting for it to start... there was some crazy lady that kept dancing around.. she was soo hyper!!! and it was sooo early too!! :/ i dont know what she was eating! haha!
anyway.. i'll just get to the amanda parts.. cuz the rest was boring! haha! well, first, rob and jason were out there doing a sound check and stuff.. then they went away.. i didnt know what was going on.. i thought amanda was gonna be on then... i was really excited when i saw them out there!
when all the other guests were coming out, they all stopped to talk to roger, rick and marilyn.. so i really wanted to ask them if amanda was going to be talking too.. so i went up to marilyn and asked her.. but when i got up there i leaned against the stand thing that they had up there (where they were sitting).. and it moved! omg!! haha! and she was like.. 'oh! dont lean against that!!' haha!! oops!! :( i didn't know... yea.. so.. i asked if amanda was gonna be talking at all, and she said 'yea for sure.. WHEN she gets here..' then she made a face! haha!! so amanda was late.... fixing her hair for too long?! haha! ;) and then i also said that i had a present for her.. and she was telling me that i should come up whenever i feel its right. She asked what i got her.. and i said an xmas card and a doll that looks like her.. and she SQUEEEELED when i told her about the doll!! omg!! she got really excited!! hahah!!! she was really hyper too! haha!
so i just went to sit down after that and wait for amanda. Rob and jason came back out again.. so then i knew she must be here!! yay!!! i dont remember when she first came out.. but everyone was cheering when she did! and she had a really awesome outfit on! a COOOL striped vest! i loved that! and she also had a tie, jeans, and crazy high boots.. with HEELS.. of course! ;)
so she was standing around by the stage and where R, R & M were and some people went up to her for pics and stuff.. so i did the same thing! and i brought my present up there too.. there weren't that many people that went up tho.. so i was just waiting for my turn.. but after she took a pic with one of the guys.. she turned to go to the stage.. and i called out her name and gave her my present.. and she said 'oh thanks!' and then i said, 'by the way, my name is Aurelia' but i said it kinda fast, and she wasn't looking, so she didn't really hear.. it was noisy there too.. omg!! this stuff that i said was soo dumb!!! so here's sorta what happened:
me: by the way, my name is Aurelia
amanda: what?
me: by the way..
amanda: what?
me: my name..
amanda: what?
me: my name is aurelia
hahaha!! it's sorta hard to explain.. u just had to be there! ;) i was trying to say the same line about my name, but inbetween each thing i said, she just looking at me cuz she couldn't hear. And i kept saying the WRONG things over!!! she didn't know what was going on! haha! omg!! she was just standing there smiling! :) and i also told her that i saw her at mike bullard last time she was there and she said 'oh.. i remember.. you were outside on the street' OMG!!!!! holy shite!!! i was soo shocked when she said that!!! i didn't even SAY anything to her last time!! but thats soo awesome that she remembered me!! :) :) so after that, my friend took a pic of us and then she went back on the stage..
she sat down by R, R & M and started talking to them for a bit.. marilyn asked what she's been up to and amanda said she's been in the studio for about a year.. and it feels weird for her to be going out and doing things now, cuz she's soo used to just being in her PJ's!! hahha!!!! thats awesome!! :) i dont remember what else she said right now.. haha! :/ well then they just told her to get set up to sing, so she walked over and got one of the stools that were there... R R & M were just talking a bit more.. and amanda practiced for about a minute. Then marilyn asked amanda if she was ready.. Amanda said yes, and then she started singing Until we fall in. Again, she did a really AMAZING job!! i LOOOVE the acoustic version of it!! soooo good!!! :) and then she did a new christmas song afterwards called 'chill out for christmas'. It was an original one that she wrote and she said this was the 2nd time she was doing it, so bear with her. But it was soooo AWESOME!! i loved it!! :) :) She said she hasn't recorded it yet, but she will!! woo!! :) She went really crazy after she sang it too.. she was jumping around in her seat! haha! :) she left the stage a couple mins after she finished.
i heard she was gonna be doing a signing afterwards, so i just asked one of the security people where she was, and he told me where to go.. so i went there and saw her in the room. There was a short line, i didn't havta wait too long to get in.. i forgot to bring my stuff to sign, cuz it was too early.. and i was kinda rushing to leave my house.. :( so anyway.. i had a piece of paper in my pocket, so i used that. When i walked up to her, i said hi, and she smiled and said hi too. I gave her my paper, and then she was making this weird face and squinting her eyes to try and remember my name! haha! so i just told her and she asked how to spell it. While she was signing i asked her if she was gonna be going on tour soon, and she said 'yea, we're trying to set up something for january or february.. you'll hear about it.. you'll hear about it.' from?!? sony?!! noo!! haha! i didnt ask about that.. damn!! but yay!! thats AWESOME news tho!! i cant WAIT!! :) :) then i said thanks and she said thanks and i was walking away and said bye and she said it too.. i wasn't even looking at her when i said bye tho! :/ I had my Marshall shirt on too.. but i dont think she noticed.. too bad.. :(
and thats about it! i think she left after she was done.. so i went back into the main room where i was before, and went back to my seat. my friend didn't come out with me to see amanda, she stayed in there to see Tie Domi.. she loves him!! :) so then we were just waiting for nelly to come out.. the show was almost over.. she sang 2 songs and then left to do a signing in the back.. so we got up to leave too, cuz the show was over. We were walking to the back to try and get Nelly's autograph, but when we got there, we saw a HUUGE friggen line!! and then we tried to walk the same way i went before to see into the room, but then all of a sudden this security lady JUMPED in front of us and was like 'excuse me!!! where are u going??' and i said we wanted to get out.. and she said to use the back door! omg!! she freaked me out!!! you don't just leap in front of people like that!! haha! crazy!!!
so we didn't stay for her signing.. the line was too long and i didn't have anything for her to sign anyway.. but WTF!! it was nothing like that when i went to see amanda!!?! there was hardly anyone there.. i felt bad after i saw all the people there for nelly.. :( but i hate when there's a lot of people! so it was good! haha! ;) and everyone was sooo EXCITED when nelly first came out... tons of people raced to the front and into the aisles!! But amanda is much cooler! :)
There was also some stuff about it on the news at 6.. but they showed amanda singing for like 3 seconds.. and they showed nelly 3 times!! singing twice.. and the other was an interview!! They also had stuff on the news at 11 too, but it was mostly the same thing, they just showed a couple different clips.. a really short one of amanda again! :/ and then after, the news guy was saying that it must have been such a treat to see nelly there.. she's great! and the news lady was saying stuff about her too! AYE!! she wasn't the ONLY one there!! bahh!!
anyway..... it was an awesome day!! i hope amanda does more stuff like this soon!! its really fun!! :) and she ROCKS!!! =)
oh and her parents were there too.. that was cool! :)
